Snowboarding in April

At the Lodge
haha, I'm such an amatuer. This is only my 4th time going.
in another pick all of my weight is on my back legs (such a wakeboarder!!) its hard for me to get this whole snowboarding thing figured out!

Still smiling, this wasn't a bad crash, just a little cold

this it Kalle our niece. She is 2 and can ski like a champ. She kept telling our other brother-in-law who was just learning to ski like her. "watch Kalle, turn like Kalle". She always refers to herself in the 3rd person. its hilarious

Ok, This snow stuff has got to go! But I guess as long as its here, we'll make the best of it. We went snowboarding on the 5th and had a blast (other than my chest crushing, breath taking, head over heels crash). We went up to Sweitzer in Sandpoint Idaho and just boarded all day with some friends and family. We should be wakeboarding by now, but I guess we will have to wait a few weeks.

Blair was soo good and patient with me. I'm just learning so he went on the runs that I wanted to go on most of the time. Good husband!

Happy Birthday Blair!

some of our friends that joined us that night.
yes, he actually stuck his finger in the cake

Cake #2- Texas Sheet cake

Blair's birthday was April 6th and he turned 25!! Craziness. Anyway, I wanted to suprise him this year. so I threw a suprise party for him on saturday. I told him that he needed to go to the store for me and get some things for sunday. while he was gone I called his brother and asked him to call me and ask him to come over for something. So Chad called Blair and said that his family was sick and they needed some gatorade. Chad stalled him just long enough for everyone to arrive at our house. it was really fun! Blair got new waterski gloves, a bag for his wakeboard, a new white hurly hat, some shorts, and about 100 golf balls. It all turned out great!
