Portland and the Oregon Coast

Blair and I decided to take a weekend and go to the coast. It worked out perfectly because Gonzaga was playing in Portland the day we were headed to the coast. Blair did some business in Hood River on the way and then it was fun from there on out! We had such a good time and are excited to do it again!! Monstrous Wave!
This is one of my favorite pictures from our trip. The second night we stayed in this place called the Looking Glass Inn that was right on the water in Lincoln City. We went out to the water and watched all the sea lions play. It was fun. A dog actually chased a few of them!

Our first dayin Oregon we went to the Gonzaga vs. Akron game. It was really fun and we got pretty good seats too! We were in a litte cluster of Gonzaga fans.

Victory! Too bad it only lasts so long.

our first night in Portland we walked around down town and had some good food! We stayed at a hotel on the river (a very water-themed vacation).

Here is me and one of my good friends Abe. We were buddies ever since middle school! it was really great to spend some time with him. He showed Blair and I around Portland and had lunch.
ooooooo the Cheese!!! Tillamook! Blair's pretty much favorite food is Cheese.

what a perfect place for both of us, because my favorite thing to eat is Ice Cream!

is that a Cullen in the trees?!?

Cape Kiwanda (sooo beautiful)

Here's Blair on our way up the coast to Cannon Beach.

Light House at Cape Mearse

gigantic seaweed! EWww!

it was windy, but beautiful

Here is the Haystack rock on the coast at Cannon Beach. We found this great little townhouse to stay in and loved the town and the water. We stopped at Pacific City on the way up and would have no problems with visiting there again. it was unbelievable!

ok...so its been forever

here we are freezing in Twin Falls at the bridge. it was sooooo windy and cold!!!

Here is miss Tavie Lynn. She's such a cute girl! she loves this book called "I love you stinky face" and she had it while we were there in Twin Falls. She kept telling Blair to read her "stinky face" it was really cute.

as many others can admit, we love Wii. We stopped at Sarah and Evan's home on the way back from Arizona. We ended up having a really great time with them. Blair was the tennis champion, sarah the bowling champ, Evan the golf champ, and me boxing...we all had our moment of fame.

amazingly we are snuggled and watched horton hears a who. Avery is my buddy, but if her mom is around she would much rather snuggle her, so its pretty impressive that we got all comfty!

Avery and I kept playing under the table. Avery is so funny. she is the happiest little girl you will ever meet.

Here is Avery donned in her Bobby's (aunt becca) hat and scarf. I'm not sure if I said this before, but Avery named me Bobby. While I was there over Christmas she did not want to call me Aunt Becca. Instead she named me Bobby. Even when Abby would point to me and say "aunt Becca", Avery would correct her with a smile and say "Bobby". One day Hannah and I stopped over to hang out for a while and Avery got sooo excited. She looked back and forth between us saying "Bobby, Ha, Bobby, Ha" it was great. (she calls hannah, Ha)

Elyse just chillin on uncle Blair's new long board

This is Alec. he's a kick! We love him so much!

For Christmas Blair and I stayed in Spokane and had Christmas out at the Roland home in Post Falls. I flew the day after Christmas down to California and spent a week with my family. While I was flying Blair drove his Aunt and Mom to Arizona where he hung out for the week. We met back up together in Pheonix and made the long drive to Spokane. We hit some pretty crazy snow storms, but we made it home alright. It was so wonderful to see family. We even stopped in vegas and saw Grandma and Aunt Donna. it was wonderful. We hope everyone had an amazing Christmas and holiday season.

Thanksgiving

Blair, Me, Becky and Jared. We were so glad to have Jared and Becky come visit us for Thanksgiving. We had a really great time with them here. We love them very much!
Although this picture is fun and cute, this did not end well! Britton got his little hand caught under the pipe as he pulled back to shoot the cork. poor Britton

The girls kept fighting over Britton. He was the new "boy" it was great!
Here's Blair carving the turkey. we had two turkeys. Kreg deep fried one and then we cooked the other. needless to say, they were amazing

Hunter Hanson and Tysen Shelby. They are only one day apart. they were so cute lying on the ground with eachother. they kept getting their arms caught around eachother

My homemade Marshmallows. This year I decided to make some fun shapes. The hearts fit perfectly in a hot cocoa cup! (I made them especially for Jared)

Mile High Apple Pie-- This recipe is a winner

Chocolate Meringe Pie.
It was pretty good

Pumpkins and Apples at Greenbluff

Alec up in the ladder eating apples

Here's Reece trying to pull the girls in the wagon. He soon turned around and asked Blair if he would keep pulling the girls and the apples. Reece is one of the sweetest kids I know.

Here's Reece and his uncle Blair

We are under a tent hiding from the rain. It kept sprinkling on and off. Truly a fall day

Kiersten, Kalle, Kreg, and Baby Tysen (the shelby family)

Emmy and Aunt Becca

Luke. He kept trying to roll the pumpkins, making his own stash of good ones

Emmy and Elyse loving the apples

Ly-see bug is Kyndra's and Aaron's youngest. She's hilarious. She can hardly muster a smile, but when you get one its totally worth it.

Kalle sharing her pumpkin with me

Alec picking out his favorite pumpkins!

Every fall we go to GreenBluff and pick apples and pumpkins. We have famouse pumpkin donuts and walk around the orchard with nieces and nephews on foot and in the wagon. This year was a lot of fun. I even made an apple pie after.

Blair's Real Backroll

You will have to excuse the screaming and yelling in the background, the passengers in the boat couldn't contain themselves.
